Two bedroom cottage with late 18th Century origins

Although small in size, this charming cottage had a big role to play, periodically providing overflow accommodation for friends and family, and earning its keep as a rental property when not in use by the owners. Alongside making changes to the internal layout, we reinforced joists, upgraded the wiring and plumbing, replaced doors, windows and flooring, installed a new kitchen and bathroom and redecorated throughout. Fixtures and fittings were chosen for their durability as much as their aesthetic merit and furniture and fabrics were combined to create a warm, welcoming feel.
